LV loves stores like URBAN OUTFITTERS...and they love us! For those who haven't been into one its like an easy fix to pick up something cool and basic without looking too hard. Some of our different designs we have made in the past have been offered to (and received) by an artist collective company NEW STANDARD. Basically new standard collects art from various artists around the world and then produces them and stocks them in stores such as Urban Outfitters, Mod Cloth, Delias and Alloy...support us and them at NEW STANDARD

JB shows us why he is the guy to see if you want an original surfboard that doesn't lack in performance...With focus on detailing, like old school style leggie plugs and amazing resin tints there is no reason why everyone shouldn't invest in a little hightide love...

First Humans installment: Pro Surfer Nicola Atherton walks us thru some moments from her brazilian trip.

Sleep walking through the daylight hours...my world has literally been turned upside down. I'm trying to stimulate my senses with guarana charged acai and mugs of tar like expresso. It's made me anxious and i've developed a twitch, but i'm awake.Comp starts in two days, i throw myself into the line-up amongst all the other frothers. It's 2ft sloppy lumps, typical conditions for any contest, however my surroundings are far from that. Surfing off a smooth stoned headland called Arpoador that seperates the infamous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. I can't help but stare back at the lustrous green mountains perched high in the background of the multicolored dwellings known as the Favelas. Overlooking this incredible landscape is the hard too miss iconic statue Christo. I've now been awake since 3 am, having enjoyed the serenity of the pre-dawn hours, the city beneath me startes to hum. I feel naive as i can't comprehend the dangers that are etched in the facets of Rio. I look back at Favelas, the last lights beginning to flicker in the rising suns glow. I am extremely fond of sleep as anyone who knows me well can tell you, so i'm slightly suprised by this depravation. Its a postcard perfect day, as the afternoon approaches waves of grey and misty clouds smother the city, the Christo vanishes from view and the heavens open up... We were lashed with sideways rain for the remainder of my visit. In hindsight, i think Christo was trying to warn me about this impending weather. I think i got my moneys worth out of my one-day sunshine pass though...

coming soon will be stories of Argentina..Nic

WEBSITE: LV NEW WEBSITE up and running away

R.I.P edward. we made you 'the face' of LV and you enjoyed the riches that came with it BUT THEN YOU decided to leave us (or were taken by a larger animal than thou) YOU LEFT US with a void, an empty space, so we filled it and made it better...

My photo
The collision of the text leon and vault evoke a feeling of quirkyness, difference and calm. Created in a room by the open minds of three young people, who merely wanted to be entertained from the ideas of placing art on blank thread. To portray leon in one light goes against the grain of everything the three aspire too. Leon is a fusion of everything from the most simplistic straight lines to the depth of charcoal, to the fun light heartedness of colour. LV any enquiries, please contact sales@leonvault.com
